Chandrasekaran Beauty Parlour

Our shop is at No 2/112 on Puliyanthope High Road. We are directly opposite the old Bnc Mill. That mill is a big landmark around here, so it’s easy to tell people where to go. Chandrasekaran Beauty Parlour has been a part of this street for quite some time. Pulianthope is an old area of Chennai, and it has a lot of character. The road outside is always busy with buses and lorries, so it can be quite noisy. Inside the parlour, we try to keep it a bit more relaxed. It’s not a luxury spa or anything. It’s just a place where you can get your hair done without any fuss. The tiles on the floor are a bit worn out from years of people walking in and out. I like it that way, it shows we’ve been working hard. We have some regulars who have been coming to us since they were young. Now they bring their own kids. It’s nice to see families grow up. We don't use any fancy machines or electronics. Just the usual tools and some good old-fashioned work. Sometimes we run out of water if the tank isn't filled on time, but we manage. We aren't here to impress anyone with decor. We just want to provide a place where neighbors can come and feel a bit better about how they look. It’s simple and honest work every day. We close up when the street lights come on.
