Our office is over at No.41, Kasturirangan Road. It’s a pretty nice part of Alwarpet. We’ve been set up here in Chennai for a bit now. Real estate is what we do, day in and day out. It’s mostly just us handling the usual property queries and keeping track of things in the local market. The street outside is actually quite pleasant, which is a nice change from the noisier parts of the city. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about us from someone else they know. Working in this part of town is good because everything is close by. We spend a lot of time on our laptops or out visiting different sites to see what they look like. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, and we just stay in the office and try to get through the paperwork. It’s not always exciting, but it’s the work we chose to do. We’ve got a small team here. Everyone knows each other well. We don't have big meetings with slides or anything; we just talk over coffee and figure out what needs to be done. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. No one wears suits unless they absolutely have to for a formal meeting. We just want to get the details right for the people who come to us. Alwarpet has a certain feel to it, and we like being part of that scene.
