Apsaras Beauty Parlour

Apsaras Beauty Parlour sits on Mint Street in Sowcarpet, No.386 to be exact. We are right by the post office and the Reliance showroom, which makes us easy to find in this crowded part of Chennai. Sowcarpet is always full of life, with people shopping for sarees and jewelry everywhere. Our parlour is a small retreat from all that chaos. We mostly do threading, waxing, and hair services for the local ladies. The shop isn't very big, but we make the most of the space we have. We have a few chairs and a small area in the back for more private work. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing. We’ve been here for quite some time, and the building itself has a lot of history. You can hear the sounds of the street even through the walls. We use simple towels and standard products that everyone knows. It’s a place where women come to chat while they get their hair done. We don't try to be like those big city salons; we just want to help the neighborhood ladies look a bit neater. Sometimes the narrow streets make it hard to reach us, but our regulars always find their way. We just keep doing what we know how to do, day after day. It's dusty outside on Mint Street, but we keep our corner as tidy as we can for our visitors and friends.
