We are located at number 338 on Triplican High Road. It used to be known as Old Number 2 and 3, which sometimes confuses the delivery drivers who are new to the area, but most people around here know us well enough by now. It is a very busy street, and there is always some kind of noise coming from the traffic outside or the people walking down toward the temple. The shop itself is not very big, but we try to fit as much as we can onto the shelves. Boxes often get stacked up high near the back wall because we don't have a separate warehouse for storage. I get here early in the morning, usually by 8 o'clock, to sweep the front and get things ready before the first rush of people. The shelves are mostly filled with the basic things that people need for their homes every day. Sometimes the ceiling fans don't work quite right when it gets really hot in the summer, but we just keep going anyway. My nephew comes in to help out when he is not busy with his college classes. We spend a lot of our time just shifting things around to make enough room for the new stock that comes in on the heavy trucks. Triplican is an old part of the city, and our building shows its age with the layers of paint on the walls. It is just a regular place where we do our business every day without much fuss.
