Alwin Realservant is based at number 160 on Basin Road. We are right in the middle of Indira Gandhi Nagar in Thiruvottyur. If you have ever been down Basin Road, you know it can get pretty crowded with trucks and people going about their business. It is a lively place to have an office. We are on the ground floor, so it is easy for people to just step inside when they are passing by. The space inside is simple, with just enough room for our desks and a place for visitors to sit down. We handle a lot of different things related to property around this part of town. It gets a bit loud outside with all the traffic, but we just close the door and get on with the filing. Thiruvottyur is an old part of the city, so there is always something interesting happening with the land records. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us here making sure the work gets done and the people are taken care of. We keep our records in big binders and spend a lot of time making sure every detail is right. It is not the most exciting job in the world, but it is important for the people living in Indira Gandhi Nagar. We just keep our heads down and do the work day after day until the job is finally finished.
