About Singh Disha N.M. Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
I've been working out of House No.2514 in Sector 35-C for a while now. Most days here start early with a lot of tea and looking at drawings spread across the big table. People often just drop by when they are in the neighborhood to ask about their house plans or just to check on how things are moving. It gets a bit messy with all the tracing paper and old files, but that is just how we work. The sector is quiet enough, though the afternoon sun hits the front windows pretty hard. Sometimes the phone rings more than I’d like, especially when I'm trying to finish a specific layout. My desk is usually covered in pens that don't always work and half-empty water bottles. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we try to get the drawings right so the contractors don't have too many questions later on. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the new buildings going up nearby. Other days, it’s a rush to meet a deadline before the sun goes down. It’s a small operation here at Singh Disha N.M. Architect. We just focus on the task at hand and try to make sure the measurements are accurate before anything gets sent out. It's not a big corporate setup, just a local spot where things get done one day at a time without any fuss or unnecessary complications.
