Satva

Satva is down in the basement of Sco-40 in Sector 26. Chandigarh is a planned city but Sector 26 always feels like it has its own pace. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler than the street level when the sun is out. We have been in this spot for some time now. It’s not a huge space, but it fits enough people. Most of the people who come in work nearby or are just hanging out in the sector. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us or hear about us from someone else. The stairs leading down can be a bit steep, so you have to watch your step. We try to keep the lights right so it doesn't feel too dark down there. It's just a simple setup with tables and chairs. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, sometimes it's quiet. Depends on who is working that day. We handle the lunch rush and then it gets a bit slower in the afternoons. Sector 26 is a good place to be, even if parking can be a real pain sometimes. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure everyone is fed. It's not a fancy corporate office, just a local business trying to make things work in the basement. We keep the floors mopped and the tables wiped down. That's about it for us here. We usually close up once the dinner crowd leaves and the sector gets quiet.
