Balti Curries

We have been here at booth 404 in sector 44d for a while now. If you know the 43-44 roundabout, we are just right there. It is a small spot, nothing fancy, but we keep busy. Most mornings start early, getting things ready before the lunch rush kicks in. Chandigarh gets quite hot in the summer, but the fans keep us going. People usually find us when they are driving through the sector or living nearby. We just cook what we know. It is mostly curry and some breads. The booth is compact, so everything happens in a tight space. We have gotten to know the regular faces over the years. Some folks just stop for a quick bite on their way home. We do not have a big team, just a few of us working together every day. Sometimes the rain makes the roundabout look nice and green, which is a good view from our door. We try to keep the place clean and simple. There is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week. We focus on getting the food right so people come back next time they are hungry. It is just a local business trying to do things properly. We do not really do big ads or anything. Most people just walk in after seeing our sign near the corner. It is a simple life here in the booth.
