I have my office at 1735 in Phase 5 of S.A.S Nagar, Mohali. It is a decent area and I have been here for a long time now. As an architect, my days are usually split between sitting at my desk and going out to look at how buildings are coming along. I don't have a big staff, just me and some help when the workload gets heavy. The office isn't anything fancy to look at. It has my drafting table, some old chairs, and piles of project files. Mohali has grown so much since I first opened this place. There used to be a lot more empty space around Phase 5, but now it is all filled with houses and shops. I like being part of that growth. My work isn't about big speeches or marketing. It is just about figuring out where the walls should go and making sure the roof doesn't leak. I spend a lot of time talking to contractors and workers on the ground. Sometimes things go wrong and we have to fix them on the fly. That is just how building things works. I try to keep things simple and talk to people in a way they understand. It is a steady life and I have my routine. I usually start the day with a cup of tea and a look at my drawings. It is just a regular local business.
