We are located at 645 on the third floor in Katra Neel, which is right in the middle of Central Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s famous for textiles and is incredibly crowded. Our building is old, and getting up to the third floor is a bit of a climb. We deal with fabrics all day long. The space is filled with stacks of cloth, and there’s always a bit of lint floating in the air. We spend most of our time talking to traders and making sure our stock is what it needs to be. It’s not a quiet place; you can hear the noise from the market downstairs all day. The rooms are a bit cramped because we try to fit as much fabric as possible in here. We have some wooden desks that have been around for years and a small corner for making tea. It’s a very traditional way of doing business in a very traditional area. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just calendars and some old photos. The power goes out once in a while, but we just keep working. Most of us here grew up around this market, so we’re used to the pace. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know. We just take the orders, check the material, and send it out.
