Amit Purse House

Amit Purse House is located over in Prem Nagar, specifically at A 815 in the Nabi Karim area of Paharganj. If you have ever spent time in Nabi Karim, you know that the streets are very narrow and always crowded with people and goods being moved on carts. Our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We deal with purses of all different kinds, and the shop usually has that strong smell of new vinyl and leather materials. It is a very small space, so we have to stack the bags high up on the wooden shelves just to make everything fit inside. Most of our day is spent talking to different traders or people who just happen to wander in while they are exploring the streets of Paharganj. It is a loud neighborhood, and there is almost always music playing or someone shouting nearby in the market. We do not have any fancy air conditioning in here, just a couple of old ceiling fans that hum all day long. The shop has been in this spot for many years, and we know pretty much all the other shopkeepers on this block. We often share a cup of tea while we wait for the next shipment of stock to arrive. It is not a polished or fancy environment. The floor is old and the shelves are a bit crooked, but it works for what we do.
