Altamas Purse

Altamas Purse is right in the middle of Indoria Market, specifically at Shop No. C 25 and 26. We are located near Neem Wala Chowk in the Nabi Karim area of Paharganj. This place is famous for bags and purses, and we’ve been part of that community for a long time. Our shop is right on the corner where Qutub Road meets Neem Wala Chowk. It’s a very busy spot with people moving in every direction. There is always someone walking past or asking for directions to the next market. We have two shops joined together so we can show off more of what we have on the walls. It’s mostly purses for ladies, in all kinds of colors. We have shelves going all the way up to the ceiling. Sometimes I have to use a wooden ladder just to reach the ones at the very top for a customer. The market is loud and crowded, but that’s the energy we like to work in. We don't bother with fancy displays or bright neon lighting. We just put the purses out where people can touch them and see the stitching for themselves. My brothers and I run the place together every day. We’ve been here since we were kids learning the trade from our elders in the shop. It’s a lot of work keeping up with what people want, but we manage. We aren't some big brand from a mall. We are just local sellers.
