Amba Accessories

Our place, Amba Accessories, is at 154 in the MCD Market here in Karol Bagh. If you know this market, you know it’s always a bit of a scramble. There are so many shops squeezed together. We deal with small parts and bits and pieces that people need for their machines or gadgets. Everything is kept in small plastic bins or drawers. It’s not the most organized looking place but we know where everything is. The walls are covered in shelves from floor to ceiling. I spend a lot of time on a small ladder reaching for things. The market gets very crowded during the festive seasons. Sometimes it’s hard to even get the shutters up in the morning because of the stalls set up nearby. We’ve been at 154 for quite a while now. The building is old and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website. We just rely on the people who walk past and the regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a dusty job sometimes, handling all these small metal and plastic parts. We keep a rag handy to wipe things down. It is just a regular shop in a regular market, doing what we can every day. We usually take a break around midday when the sun is at its peak. It's a tough but good life here in Karol Bagh.
