Alina Bags

Alina Bags is over in the Nabi Karim area, specifically at 11382 on the first floor. It is on Nabi Karim Road, which is part of Jhandewalan. This whole neighborhood is known for bags and leather work, so we fit right in with the surrounding shops and workshops. To get to us, you have to head up to the first floor. The stairs are a bit narrow, but that is common for these older buildings in Delhi. Inside, the space is mostly taken up by bags and materials. It’s a working area, so it’s not always perfectly neat. There are piles of things here and there. We spend the day moving stock and checking on orders. The street outside is always noisy with carts, scooters, and people shouting. It’s a very busy trade area. You can hear the sounds of the market all day long. We don’t have a big reception or anything like that. It’s just us working among the products. The air smells a bit like materials and dust. We like being in Jhandewalan because everyone knows this is the place to go for what we do. It’s a very traditional market vibe. We start early and the work day usually goes on until the sun is down. It’s a lot of physical work, but we are used to the pace of Nabi Karim and the noise of the road.
