Venkateshwara Flower Shop

We are located at 191 on New BEL Road, right near Ramaiah Hospital here in RMV Extension. Most days start pretty early for us at Venkateshwara Flower Shop. We spend the first few hours just getting the fresh stock in and trimming down the stems. It gets a bit messy with water and leaves on the floor, but that is just how it is. Being so close to the hospital means we see a lot of people coming in to pick up something for a friend or family member they are visiting. We keep a variety of stuff like roses and carnations, and sometimes local marigolds if the market has them. The traffic on New BEL Road can get quite loud in the afternoons, but we just stay busy inside. It is a small space, nothing fancy. We have a few buckets lined up along the entrance so people can see what is fresh. Sometimes the heat makes the flowers wilt faster than we would like, so we are always spraying them with water to keep them looking okay. Our neighbors around here have known us for a while now. We don't do anything too complicated, just simple bouquets or loose flowers if that is what someone needs. It is mostly just about keeping the shop running and making sure the flowers don't sit around for too long. If you are walking past the hospital, you will probably see our sign.
