At Karuturi Flower Express Pvt Ltd, we are situated over at 204 on Craig Park Road. It’s an interesting spot because we are directly opposite the Karnataka Film Chamber. You see a lot of people coming and going from that building, which keeps the street lively even on slower days. Our space isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. Most of the day is spent handling the crates that come in and trying to keep the place cool. The road outside can get a bit clogged with traffic, but it’s mostly quiet in the mornings when we’re first getting things ready. We deal with a lot of greenery and stems that need constant trimming. There’s no big secret to what we do; we just show up, take the deliveries, and keep the buckets filled. Sometimes the humidity makes everything feel a bit heavy, but you get used to it. The Film Chamber across the way is a good landmark if someone is trying to find where we are tucked in. We don’t really do much in the way of decorating the shop itself, as the flowers take up all the room anyway. We’ve got some old wooden tables and some plastic pails that have seen better days. It is just a regular place where work gets done by hand, and the smell of damp earth is always hanging around the shop.
