Sai Florist

Sai Florist is located at number 34, right across from the Sai Baba Temple in the AMCO Layout area of Sahakaranagar. Being near the temple means our mornings start earlier than most. You can hear the bells and the prayers starting up while we are still unloading the first bins of the day. Ulsoor is a busy part of town, and Sahakaranagar has its own pace. We spend a lot of time just sweeping up the petals that fall and making sure the water in the vases stays clear. The shop has a bit of a worn-in feel because we’ve been here quite some time. It is a simple setup with some racks and a back area where we keep the extra stock. When the temple has a big festival or it’s a Thursday, the whole street gets packed with people walking by. We usually have to step over our own supplies just to move around. There’s always a bit of mud on the floor from the wet stems, and the air stays pretty cool because of all the moisture. It’s not a fancy place, just a local shop where we keep busy. We know the neighbors and the people who work at the temple, and it feels like a small community inside a bigger city. The AMCO Layout is pretty quiet in the evenings once the sun goes down and the temple visitors head home.
