Anjali Flowers

Anjali Flowers is right there on 11th Main in Indira Nagar. Most people know us because we sit between Sagar Food and the Reliance Web spot near 10th Cross. It gets pretty busy around here, especially when folks are heading in to grab a quick bite or check their internet stuff. We spend most of our mornings just moving buckets around and making sure things stay damp so they don't wilt in the heat. There is always a lot of noise from the street, bikes zooming past and people shouting to each other, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of scissors clipping through stems. We’ve been at 905/A for a while now. The floor is usually a bit of a mess with leaves and bits of wire, but that’s just how it goes when you’re working with plants all day. Sometimes the guys from the food place next door come over for a chat when things are slow. We don't have much of a fancy setup, just some shelves and a lot of water. If you are walking down from Vijaya Nagar side, you can’t really miss the spot. It’s a bit cramped when we get a fresh shipment in, and we have to stack the crates out on the sidewalk for a bit until we can sort through them. It’s just us doing the work every day, nothing too complicated about it.
