Lovely Florist

Lovely Florist is tucked into Devatha Plaza at 26/131, right on Residency Road. We are directly opposite the Chen Beauty Parlour, so we see a lot of people heading in there to get their hair done. Residency Road is always a bit of a mess with traffic and people walking, but the plaza gives us a little bit of a buffer. The shop itself is quite compact. We have to be really organized with where we put the different varieties, or we’d run out of walking space within an hour. There is a lot of back-and-forth between the front counter and the storage area. We spend most of our time submerged in the daily chores like clipping thorns and changing out the water so nothing gets smelly. The plaza has a specific kind of atmosphere, a bit old-fashioned and sturdy. We’ve got some regular customers from the nearby offices who pop in just to see what came in that morning. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are usually stained or a bit scratched up by the end of the shift. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us making sure everything stays sorted. The beauty parlour across the way is a good marker if you’re looking for the entrance. It is just a small, working shop in a busy part of town where we keep things simple.
