Sri Venkateshwara Flower Decor

Sri Venkateshwara Flower Decor is located up on the 4th floor of the Jayanthi Building. We are right there near Ganesha Theatre on BB Road in Yelahanka. Being on the fourth floor means we spend a lot of time moving crates and supplies up and down, which keeps us pretty tired by the end of the shift. It’s a bit of a climb, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels like home now. Downstairs the road is always loud with traffic and people going to catch a movie. Up here, it's a bit quieter, mostly just the sound of us working with the flowers and tape and frames. We do a lot of prep work for events, mostly weddings or local festivals around Yelahanka. It’s a lot of manual labor, stripping leaves and wiring stems together. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and that makes things interesting when we have a big order to move. We don’t have a flashy showroom. It's more of a workspace where things get done. Some days are incredibly rushed when there's a big muhurtham coming up, and we are all hands on deck until late at night. We just try to get the orders right and out the door on time. The view from the window is mostly just the tops of other buildings and the busy street below. It's a straightforward business, run by people who know their way around a garland and aren't afraid of a little dirt or the effort it takes to get things up and down those stairs.
