We operate out of 13/2 Chamrajpet, which is a busy area with a lot of history. Our focus is mostly on decoration work, so the shop is often filled with long garlands and big piles of loose petals. It’s not the neatest place you’ll ever see, because we are always in the middle of a project. There are threads and needles lying around on the benches, and the floor is usually covered in yellow and orange marigold bits. We work long hours, especially when there are festivals or local events happening nearby. Chamrajpet has a certain rhythm to it, and we’ve been part of it for quite some time now. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we can sit and do the threading. Sometimes our fingers get a bit sore from the constant work, but that’s just part of the job. We get our supplies delivered early and we start sorting them while the tea stalls nearby are just opening up. We don't really bother with any modern marketing stuff; we just stay here at our address and do the work that comes our way. It’s a lot of manual labor and staying on our feet, but we like the bustle of the neighborhood. Most of our days are spent just making sure every garland is tied tight and ready to go out to the customers. We finish up when the work is done.
