Sri Manjunatha Flower Centre

Sri Manjunatha Flower Centre is located at 1172 on Lorry Godown Street. Vijaya Nagar can be pretty hectic with all the trucks moving in and out of the godowns. It’s not the quietest place for a flower shop, but it works for us. We get a lot of dust from the street, so we are always wiping down the leaves and the counters. We aren't a high-end boutique or anything like that. We are just a local centre where people can get what they need without a fuss. We have stacks of crates and piles of discarded stems in the back. It’s a working space. Sometimes the lorries block the entrance, and we have to ask the drivers to move so a customer can get in. It is just part of being on this street. We work with the seasons, so what we have changes all the time. If the weather is bad, the flowers aren't as good, and we just tell people that. We don't try to hide it. We aren't here to give you a sales pitch. We just sell flowers to anyone who stops by. It is a plain shop with plain people working in it. We have been in Vijaya Nagar long enough to know the rhythm of the place. We just keep doing our thing every day, truck noise and all. Usually, by the time the evening rolls around, we are tired but ready to do it again the next morning.
