Sneha Florist

Our shop is located at 15 Near Banashankari Temple on 1st Main Ram Mandir Road in Sampangiram Nagar. Being so close to the temple means we are usually busy very early in the morning. People start coming by for their offerings before the sun even gets high. Sneha Florist has been part of this street for a good while now. We don't have a lot of space, but we use every inch of the ground floor to sort out the marigolds and roses. It is a very traditional atmosphere around here. You can hear the temple bells throughout the day while we are sitting on our stools working on the garlands. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, threading needles and tying knots, but we don't mind the pace. The air always smells like incense and damp flowers. We don't bother with polished displays or high-end lighting. Most of our stuff is kept in large baskets or piled on the wooden tables. Sometimes it gets crowded when the festival days come around, and then it’s all hands on deck to keep up with the demand. We know most of the people on Ram Mandir Road by name. It’s a tight community and we are just happy to have our little corner here. We do our work, talk to the neighbors, and go home when the temple gates close for the night. It's a long day but it feels right.
