Snakes and Ladder

Our place is situated between Indira Nagar and Anand Nagar. It’s a decent area with a lot of trees around. We called it Snakes and Ladder because we wanted it to feel like a place where you could just relax and play a game if you felt like it. We have some board games stacked up on a shelf in the corner. Some of the boxes are missing pieces, but people still play them. We aren't a high-end lounge or anything corporate. It’s just a room with some tables and chairs where you can hang out. We spend most of our time making sure there’s enough tea and coffee to go around. The kitchen is pretty basic. We make simple stuff that doesn't take too long. Sometimes it gets really crowded on Saturday nights and we have to pull in extra chairs from the back. Other times, it’s completely dead and we just sit around and talk. We don't have a big grand plan for the place. We just liked the idea of a spot where people didn't feel rushed to leave. The walls have some posters on them that we liked. It’s a bit of a mix of styles, nothing matches perfectly. That’s fine with us. We just want it to feel like a normal place where you can spend an hour or two without any pressure. Usually, we're here until about ten at night.
