Cinepolis India Pvt Ltd has an office presence here on Juhu Tara Road in the Hulimavu area. We deal with the entertainment side of things, specifically movies and everything that goes along with running a cinema. It’s a lot of behind-the-scenes work that the average person sitting in a theater doesn't see. We spend our days coordinating with different branches and making sure the films are ready to play. The office is usually full of people on laptops or on the phone. It’s a fast-paced environment because the movie business never really stops. We have to keep track of schedules, equipment, and all the little things that keep a theater running. It’s not all glamour like people think. There is a lot of paperwork and technical stuff involved. We’ve been at this location for a while now, and it works well for us. The team is a mix of people who have been in the industry for years and some newer faces. We don't really go for big corporate speeches. We just want to make sure when someone buys a ticket, the movie actually starts on time and the sound works. It’s a practical job at the end of the day. We are just here in the office making sure the entertainment happens like it should for everyone. There is always a pile of posters and hard drives being moved around the room. We drink a lot of tea and try to keep the chaos under control.
