Sai Flowers

We are located at 16 Phase 4 in Mamulpet, right in the thick of the wholesale trade. This area is famous for being busy, and our shop is no different. We spend most of our hours surrounded by bundles of flowers wrapped in old newspapers. The space is practical and built for work, not for showing off. We have a few ceiling fans that run all day to keep the air moving, though it still stays quite humid because of all the water we use. Every day we go through the same process of unloading the arrivals and checking the quality of the stems. It is a messy job with a lot of waste that needs to be cleared out every few hours. We don't have any decorative displays; we just put the flowers in big plastic tubs so they stay hydrated. People come in through the narrow entrance, and we often have to shuffle things around to let them pass. Mamulpet is a place where everyone is in a hurry, so we try to keep up with that pace. Our hands are often wet and cold from the water, and we wear simple clothes that don't mind a bit of dirt. It is honest work that keeps us busy from dawn until the shutters go down at night. We don't worry about being fancy; we just make sure the work gets done and the shop stays functional for the next day.
