S L Flowers

We are S L Flowers, located at number 1 on A S Char Street, right near the Swadishta Hotel in BTM Layout 2nd Stage. If you know the hotel, you’ve probably seen us standing outside or working in the shop. BTM is always moving, lots of students and office folks around here. Our shop is a small place, but we pack a lot into it. Every morning we bring in the fresh stock from the main markets. It’s a bit of a gamble what will look good that day, but we pick the best of what's available. The smell of the flowers mixes with the food smells from the hotel next door. It’s a busy corner of the street. We spend most of our time cleaning up the floor because leaves and petals get everywhere throughout the day. Customers come in for all sorts of reasons, birthdays or just because they want some color in their rooms. We don't have any fancy titles or a corporate office. It’s just us and the flowers. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight or torches, which is a bit of a pain but we manage somehow. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the demand for fresh flowers stays pretty much the same. It's a simple business and we like the people who stop by to chat while we work. We aren't looking to expand, just keeping things steady right here for everyone.
