Right Florist

Right Florist is located at 589 Vijaya Nagar, right in the heart of Zaveri Bazar. It’s a pretty intense area with all the crowds and the narrow streets, but we’ve gotten used to the pace over the years. Our shop is small and usually filled to the ceiling with buckets. We have to move things around just to find a place to stand some mornings. We get our flowers very early when it’s still dark outside. The delivery trucks come in and we spend hours sorting through everything. It’s hard work on your feet all day, and my back usually hurts by the time we close up. The floor is almost always a bit slippery from the water, so you have to be careful where you step. We don’t do those fancy, over-the-top arrangements you see in magazines. We just put together what looks good and what people ask for. Many of our customers are folks who have been coming to us for years. They know we’re just a local shop and not part of some big chain. Zaveri Bazar is always loud, and sometimes it’s hard to hear the phone ringing over the street noise. We don't have a big sign or anything. Just the flowers out front. It’s a messy, colorful life we have here, and we wouldn't really want to be anywhere else. It’s just what we do every day without much thought.
