Rekha Flower Stall

Rekha Flower Stall is located in the Sahakari Building right at Bashyam Circle in the 3rd Block of Rajajinagar. This is a very active part of the neighborhood, and there is always something going on outside at the circle. The shop itself is pretty basic. We have our setup inside the building where we keep the flowers out of the direct sun. It’s a lot of work keeping things fresh in Rajajinagar, especially when the afternoon heat kicks in. We use a lot of water, and the floor is almost always a bit damp from the spray we use to keep the petals from drying out. We don’t have any polished displays or corporate branding. It’s just us, some buckets, and the flowers we get in every day. I spend a lot of time sitting on a small wooden bench, threading garlands or trimming the dead leaves off the lilies. Bashyam Circle is loud with all the traffic, but inside the Sahakari Building, it’s a little more peaceful. We get a mix of people coming in—some are in a huge hurry and others just want to look around for a bit. We don't mind either way. We’ve been here at the 3rd Block for a long time, and we just keep on with the daily routine of cleaning, cutting, and waiting for the next customer to walk through the door.
