Ramson Nursery

Ramson Nursery is located at number 117 on Ferozepur Road, right opposite the Indian Oil Petrol Bunk on Lalbagh Road. Since we are a nursery and not just a florist, we have a lot more than just cut flowers. We have rows of potted plants, small saplings, and bags of soil stacked up near the entrance. The location on Lalbagh Road is perfect because this area has a long history with plants and gardening. Our day is mostly spent watering everything and making sure the plants are not getting too much sun. It is a lot of heavy lifting, moving pots from one side of the yard to the other. Our clothes and hands are almost always covered in a bit of dirt. We do not mind it because it is part of the job. We have some old benches where we sit to do the repotting. The sound of the traffic from Ferozepur Road is always there in the background, but the nursery feels a bit like a different world once you step inside. We get people who are looking for something to grow on their balconies or in their backyards. We give them basic advice on how much water the plants need and where to put them. It is not a polished showroom; it is a working nursery with mud on the floor and tools leaning against the walls. We just focus on keeping the plants healthy.
