Om Sri Sai Flowers

You can find us right on Banneraghatta Road, specifically at 35 4/1 A on the ground floor. We are pretty much directly opposite the Mico Back Gate, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. The noise from the road is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. Om Sri Sai Flowers is where we spend most of our waking hours. Usually, the morning starts with unloading the crates. It can be quite a struggle when the trucks are late or the weather is bad, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around. It is just a shop where we tie garlands and keep the loose flowers ready for the neighborhood. The floor is usually wet from the sprinklers we use to keep the blooms from wilting in the heat. There is always someone coming in for a small bunch or just a string of jasmine for their hair. Being near the back gate of Mico means we see a lot of workers and commuters passing through. We keep the counter simple and don't bother with much decoration ourselves. The flowers do enough of that on their own anyway. We just focus on getting the orders ready and making sure we don't run out of the favorites before the evening rush hits. It’s just us here, doing the same thing every day, year after year, with the same buckets and the same old stools.
