You can find us at 110 Magarpatta City in the Basaveshwara Nagar area. It’s a decent spot. Not as loud as the main markets, which is nice for us. We’ve been operating out of this room for a bit now. It’s mostly just a workspace. We have tables where we sort through the different flowers that come in. It’s not a place with big glass windows and air conditioning. We just keep the fans going and hope for a breeze. Most of our day is spent cleaning up stems and thorns. You get poked a lot in this job, but you get used to it after a while. We don’t do any big advertising. People mostly find us by word of mouth or by just walking past 110. Basaveshwara Nagar is a good neighborhood, and we know most of the people on our block. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. We just take the flowers, clean them up, and get them ready for whoever needs them. Sometimes we have a lot of work and we are here late into the night. Other times it’s quiet and we just sit and drink tea. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. It’s simple, steady work and it keeps the lights on. We don’t ask for much more than that. It’s just how we spend our days and keep our families going.
