Jayalakshmi Flower Stall

Our little place, Jayalakshmi Flower Stall, is located at 39 Tilak Road in Ramaswamy Palya. It’s not a big shop, just a regular stall where we handle flowers every day. We’ve been at this spot for some time, and most people in the neighborhood know where to find us. Usually, the day starts very early when the fresh supplies arrive at the market. Tilak Road can get quite crowded with traffic and people going about their business, but we just stay busy at the stall. We mostly put together garlands and small bunches for people living nearby or those passing through Ramaswamy Palya. There isn't much flair to what we do. We just sit here, trim the stems, and tie the flowers together with simple thread. It's honest work. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when it's too hot for the blooms, but we manage somehow. People stop by for their daily needs, maybe for a small puja at home or just to have some jasmine. We don't have a website or fancy brochures. If you need flowers, you just come down to number 39 and see what we have available for the day. It’s a quiet life mostly, just surrounded by petals and buckets of water. We appreciate the folks around here who have kept us going all these years. It’s just us doing what we know how to do.
