Florence Flora

Florence Flora is based out of Sahakara Nagar, specifically at 547/10 on the first floor. We are right across from the BSNL office near Jagtap Dairy at Sai Chowk. It’s a recognizable landmark, so people don't usually get lost trying to find us. Being on the first floor means we have to carry everything up and down the stairs, which is quite the workout some days. The shop is filled with the scent of fresh cut flowers and damp earth. We’ve got buckets lined up against the walls and shelves full of various supplies. Sahakara Nagar is a lively community, and we feel like we’ve become a small part of the daily life here. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s a working flower shop with wet floors and piles of discarded leaves. We don’t mind the mess because it shows we’re busy. Sometimes we have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. The windows look out onto the street, so we can see the bustle of Sai Chowk while we’re tying up bouquets. We deal with the local weather as it comes, keeping the fans going when it’s hot. It’s a simple setup we’ve got here, and we like the independence of running our own little space above the street level. We focus on the daily tasks and getting the bunches ready for whoever walks through the door.
