Divya Florist

Divya Florist is over at 1035 in Koramangala 8th Block. We are on the 5th Cross, near 7th Main, and the Passport Office is just a short walk away. Because of the Passport Office, there are always a lot of people walking around this part of Koramangala. Some people stop in while they are waiting for their appointments just to look at the flowers. The shop is a simple place with white walls and a few cooling fans. We don't have a lot of space, so we have to be careful where we put the buckets so people don't trip. We get our flowers from the main market early in the morning, and the shop is usually a mess of wet paper and discarded stems for the first few hours. We just do regular bunches and some loose flowers for people who want to decorate their homes. Koramangala can be a bit noisy and the parking is usually a headache, but we have been here for a while and know the neighborhood well. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just sell flowers and try to keep them as fresh as possible in this weather. It’s a lot of manual work, especially when we have to clean the vases or prep the roses. It’s just us doing our daily routine.
