Our shop is located at number 45, which is right near the hockey ground on 11th Cross in Langford Town. It is a relatively peaceful area compared to the rest of the city, and we like the green trees around here. We spend our mornings at the shop sorting through the fresh arrivals that come in from the market. The space isn't very large, but it has high ceilings that keep it from feeling too crowded. We have a few old tables where we do all the cutting and arranging. The floor is made of simple tiles that are often wet because we are constantly changing the water in the buckets. We don't use any high-tech gadgets; we just use our hands and a pair of good shears. Sometimes you can hear the whistles and cheering from the hockey ground while we work, which is a nice break from the silence. We have a few shelves where we keep some vases and wire, but mostly the room is filled with the scent of lilies and tuberoses. It’s a very grounded way to spend the day. We know the people who live in the apartments nearby and the kids who walk past after school. Our focus is just on the daily chores of running a small business in Langford Town. We don't try to be something we are not; we are just a local florist doing what we know how to do.
