Bbb Flora

Bbb Flora is tucked away at 22 Ramamurthy Nagar, near the 4th Cross. We are quite close to the Arabic College post office area. It’s a bit more relaxed here than the city center, which I appreciate. The shop is basically a room filled with flowers and a lot of string. I spend hours sitting on the floor making garlands. My fingers get a bit calloused from the constant pulling and tying of the thread. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. Just a simple board with the name on it so people can find us. Most of our customers are locals who live just a few streets away. They come in for flowers for their home altars or for weddings in the family. I like the routine of the 4th Cross. You get to know when the mail is coming and when the students are heading home. The shop can get quite messy with all the leaves and stems scattered around the place. I try to keep it tidy, but that’s not always possible during the busy season when we have a lot to do. It’s just a normal job. I don't try to make it sound like something it isn't. We provide flowers to the people around Ramamurthy Nagar and we’ve been doing it that way for a long time. It’s a quiet life, mostly, except when we have a lot of orders to get out the door.
