Atria Flora

Atria Flora is just a little shop at 16 Shankarapuram. We aren't part of some big chain. It's just a local spot where we handle flowers. The building is old, and we’ve had to fix the roof a couple of times. It’s not the most modern place, but it serves its purpose. We spend our mornings sorting through what the wholesalers bring us. Some of it is great, and some of it we have to toss out. We don't sugarcoat things for the people who come in. If a specific flower isn't going to last long, we tell them. Shankarapuram is a quiet enough area, which is nice. We don't get the huge crowds you see in the city center, but we have our regulars. The shop is often filled with the smell of wet earth and lilies, which isn't a bad way to spend a day. We don't have any awards or anything. We just know how to tie a knot and keep things alive for a few days. It is mostly just a lot of manual labor, carrying heavy buckets and cleaning up thorns. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just a small business at number 16, doing what we know how to do with the plants we get. We’ve been here at this address for a long time and don't plan on moving. It's a steady life and we enjoy the work despite the cold water and the early hours.
