Aruna Flower Stall

Aruna Flower Stall sits at 308 Warje Naka Road in the Chamarajendrapet area. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We deal with flowers every single day, starting way before the sun even thinks about coming up. Chamarajendrapet is an old part of the city, and the roads can get really cramped and busy. Our stall is right in the thick of it. We get the usual crowd of people heading to work or families looking for flowers for their daily prayers. It’s a lot of standing around, waiting for customers, then a sudden burst of activity where everyone wants something different. We handle a lot of marigolds and roses, mostly the stuff people use every day. The stall isn't very big, so we have to be organized with how we stack the baskets. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, and we have to pull the covers over quickly to keep the blooms from getting ruined by the downpour. We aren't doing anything fancy or high-end. It’s just a local stall providing what the neighborhood needs. My hands are usually stained from the stems and the sap, but that's part of the job. We know the other vendors around here and we all just try to make a decent living. It’s noisy and there's always something going on out on Warje Naka Road, but we wouldn’t know what to do with ourselves if it were quiet. It’s just part of our daily routine now.
