Tayi Devaru Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Chapparadahallihiremorab. We operate from Jayaprakash’s place, which is where we handle the day-to-day things. It’s a group effort, really. All of us are farmers first, so we know what it's like when the market prices drop or the crops don't grow like they should. We decided to put this company together so we could have a bit more say in how things go for us. Instead of everyone going off in different directions, we try to coordinate a bit. It’s not always easy to get everyone on the same page, but we try our best. The office isn't much to look at, just a practical space where we store some records and meet to talk. We focus on what’s happening right here in our fields. You won't find us using big words or making promises we can't keep. We are just local people trying to make a living from the land. Sometimes we help each other with tools or advice on which seeds are working better this year. It feels right to have a local name and a local base. We’ve lived here a long time, and we plan to stay. Most days you'll find someone around the Chapparadahallihiremorab area working the fields or stopping by the house to check in on the latest news. It's just a regular part of life here now, and we keep things simple.
