Our place is at No 57 in Nandagudi Village. If you are driving through Hosakote Taluk, you might pass right by us. It’s a quiet village in the Bangalore Rural district. We’ve been here for a while, and most of us grew up on these farms. The company is something we started to help organize all the produce coming out of our fields. It’s much better than trying to do everything solo. The office isn't much to look at, just a door and some windows looking out at the greenery. We have a lot of cows and crops around here, so that’s usually what we end up talking about over tea. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It’s not like being in the middle of Bangalore city where everything is fast. Here, things take the time they take. We handle the local distribution and talk to the guys who bring the trucks in. Being in 562122 means we are close enough to the city to sell there but far enough away to keep our peace. We don't use big words or have complicated meetings. We just sit down, look at what we've grown, and figure out the best way to move it. It is just local people working together so we can all keep our farms going for another year.
