Bala Dhenu Farmers Producer Company Limited is based out of Ahalya Village, which is a quiet spot in the Chikkaiahna Hobli area. We are located near the Ramapura Post in Nanjangud Taluk, Mysore. It is a very rural setting, quite different from the big cities, and we like it that way because it keeps us close to the actual farms. Being a farmer producer company means we are mostly just a group of local people working together. The office is right here in the village, so we see our neighbors and the other farmers every single day. We deal with whatever the season brings, whether it is too much rain or not enough. There are no big corporate offices here, just the simple landscape of Mysore. We spend our time talking about crops and how to get things to market. Sometimes the power goes out or the roads get a bit muddy after a heavy rain, but that is just part of living in Nanjangud. We have been doing this for a bit now, trying to make sure the farmers in our group have a way to organize things. It is not always easy, and there is a lot of paperwork that comes with being a private limited company, but we manage.
