We’re located at L4/14 in the Vidyanagar Township, which is part of the Jsw Steel Ltd area in Toranagallu, Bellary. This township is where a lot of the community for the steel plant lives. It’s a bit like a small town that was built just for this purpose. Our office at L4/14 is a simple setup. We don’t have any high-end furniture or big glass walls. It’s just a functional space where we handle some of the administrative side of things. The streets are lined with trees, but it’s still very hot and dry since we are in Bellary. We spend our time checking through lists and making sure the township services are running as they should for the employees. It’s a very practical environment. There’s no marketing talk here; we just deal with the reality of living and working in an industrial township. You can hear the hum of the plant if the wind is blowing the right way. Most of us have been here for years, so we’ve seen the township grow and change. We are just regular people doing a job. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to make the business sound like something it isn't. It’s an honest, hardworking atmosphere at L4/14. We just make sure the daily tasks are finished before we head home to our families in the same neighborhood. It’s a steady, predictable life in Toranagallu.
