Our spot is at A4/9 in Vijay Vittal Nagar, which is part of Toranagallu village in the Bellary district. It is a bit of a trek for some, but for us, it is just where we work every day. We deal with the foundry side of things, so it’s a lot of heat and heavy materials. Pradeep Jha is usually around the office or the floor making sure the schedules are mostly followed. The pin code is 583123 if you are sending something through the post, though the mailman knows us well enough by now. Living and working in Karnataka, especially in this industrial pocket, means things move at a certain pace. We have our regulars and the people who have been with the foundry for years. The walls in the office could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the ledger books are getting a bit thick, but it’s a functioning place. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just write down what needs to be done and we do it. The dust from the road and the heat from the furnace is just what we are used to. On the weekends, it gets a little quieter, but during the week, it’s all go. We just try to keep the machines running and the orders moving out of the gate. It is a noisy job but we are proud to do it.
