We've been out here in Vidyanagar Village for quite some time now. Dealing with steel is just what happens in Toranagallul. It's a big operation, lots of noise and dust, but that’s the nature of the work. People from around the village come in for their shifts and we keep the machines running. It isn't always smooth, sometimes things break or the weather gets too hot, but we just get on with it. The steel leaves the gates and goes wherever it’s needed. There isn't much to say about it other than we show up every day and do what's expected. It's not fancy work, just hard labor and keeping an eye on the output. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is just a quick walk or a ride through the village. You see the same faces every morning. We don't spend much time talking about big goals, we just focus on the heat of the furnace and making sure the metal is right. It gets busy, especially when there are big orders to fill, but we manage. The town has grown around the site over the years. Some days are long, but that's how it goes in this industry. We keep the gates open and the trucks moving. If you're looking for us, we're right there where the road hits the village outskirts. It's a tough job but it's ours and we stay at it.
