Our office is situated over at C/O Shri Man Singh Drm Sg-9 on Sterling Road. We are right in the Nungambakkam area of Chennai. If you’ve ever been around here, you know how the traffic can get. It’s a very busy part of the city. We handle the local side of things for Jsw Steel Ltd from this spot. It’s not a massive factory like the ones out in the countryside. It’s more of a place for the paperwork and the phones. Shri Man Singh has been here for a while, and the office reflects that. It’s a bit cluttered with files and old ledgers, but we know where everything is. The air conditioning is usually working hard because Chennai stays so humid most of the year. We don’t have any big flashy signs out front to grab your attention. Most of our visitors are people we’ve known for years who have business with the steel trade. We just sit at our desks and get the coordination done. It’s a lot of talking to drivers and checking on shipments. Sometimes the tea guy is late, and that’s the biggest drama of the day. We don’t use any corporate jargon or try to sound more important than we are. We are just a small team in Nungambakkam doing our jobs as best as we can. It’s a simple, straightforward place to work on Sterling Road.
