Silktex International Ltd.

We are located at 23/29 White House on St. Marks Road. Silktex International Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character, even if the lift is a bit slow sometimes. Our floor is usually pretty busy with people moving rolls of fabric around and talking on the phones. We deal with a lot of international orders, so there’s always paperwork piling up on the desks. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a showroom. It’s more of a working office where we manage the logistics of silk exports and imports. We have some samples hanging on the walls, but they’re mostly there for us to remember what we’ve shipped. The noise from St. Marks Road comes in through the windows, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have big meetings about goals. We just focus on making sure the containers are loaded and the documents are correct. Some days are long, especially when we’re waiting on a shipment to clear, but that’s the nature of the business. The staff has been with us for years, so we all know how things work. It’s a practical setup. We don’t have fancy coffee machines, just a kettle in the corner for tea. We just do our work and go home when it’s finished for the day.
