Himatsingha Seide

Himatsingha Seide is located at 2/1 Midford Gdns on M G Rd. This is a bit of a greener spot compared to the rest of the busy road. We are surrounded by some nice trees and it feels a little more peaceful once you step off the main street. The office is in an older style building that has a lot of character. We have large windows that let in a good amount of light, which is nice when we are looking at different fabrics and colors. The floor is made of old stone and it stays relatively cool even when the Bangalore sun is out. We have a few desks scattered around and a dedicated space for looking at samples. It is a quiet place to work, which helps when we need to focus on the finer details of the textiles. We don't go in for a lot of modern office trends. Our setup is pretty traditional, with wooden cupboards and paper files. There is a small garden area outside where we sometimes sit for a few minutes to get some fresh air. People often miss the turn-off because it is tucked away, but we like it that way. It feels like a small island of calm in the middle of a very busy city. We just go about our work every day, keeping things simple and focusing on the quality of what we do.
