Rashmi Silk Fabrics

We've been at 8 Hotel Maruti Cplx for a while now. Balepet Loop Rd is always busy, but we like it here. People know us for Rashmi Silk Fabrics. It's just a shop where we handle silk. There's plenty of fabric stacks everywhere. Most days we are just busy cutting cloth or checking the new stock that comes in. It gets dusty sometimes with all the threads. My uncle started things and now we just keep it going. It’s a bit cramped in the complex but we make it work. If you're walking down the loop road, you'll see our sign. We don't do fancy ads. Just plain work. Some customers have been coming for years. We know their faces and what they usually look for. Silk is a tricky business because the quality changes. We spend a lot of time just looking at the weave. Sometimes the lights in the complex flicker, but that's just how it is. We keep the rolls organized by color mostly. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting and moving. We don't have a big team, just a few of us here every day from morning till evening. It’s a steady life. We don't try to be anything we aren't. Just a silk shop in a busy part of town. The address is easy to find if you know the hotel. We'll be here behind the counter if anyone needs anything.
