The shop is tucked away in 14 F X Cplx over on M S Ln. If you know Jumma Masjid Rd, you know how busy it gets around here. It’s a lot of walking and narrow turns to get to us, but we’ve been in this spot for quite some time. We deal with all kinds of fabrics, mostly basic stuff people need for their daily sewing or small tailoring jobs. The complex itself is old, and sometimes the lift doesn't work right, so we end up carrying rolls of cloth up the stairs. It keeps us moving, I guess. We open up pretty early, usually before the heat really sets in. The fabric gets everywhere, little bits of lint on our clothes by the end of the shift. We don't have a big fancy display, just shelves piled high with different colors and textures. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit mixed up, so it takes a minute to find exactly what someone is asking for. It’s a quiet life inside the shop, even if it’s noisy right outside on the street. We know most of the other shopkeepers in the complex, and we spend a lot of time just chatting while waiting for the next delivery. It's a simple way to make a living, and we’re happy to be here. We usually close up when the street lamps come on and the crowds start to thin out.
